Why clients stay

Small enough to care, structured enough to deliver

A great deal of what goes wrong in legal matters is administrative rather than legal: a document that was never signed, a deadline nobody was watching, an account nobody could explain. We have put real work into removing that risk from our practice.

Every new matter follows a defined take-on procedure, with a written mandate, a fee agreement on a published tariff, and a compliance checklist that is monitored rather than remembered. It is not glamorous, but it is the reason our clients know where their matter stands.

Clear from the outset

Before we begin, you receive a letter of engagement setting out the scope of our mandate and a fee agreement recording exactly how our fees are calculated, with the applicable tariff annexed.

Supervised by a director

Files are not passed down and forgotten. The director responsible for your matter reviews the work that goes out under the firm's name.

Properly administered

Correspondence, pleadings and accounts are filed to a consistent structure, so anything on your file can be found and answered without delay.
